This fuel module control system has everything needed to provide a stand alone, manifold referenced, OE-type returnless fuel system for all generations of the Ford Control Pack for Coyote engines.

When used with the low-cost GM Gen5/6 Camaro ZL1 fuel pump, this system will provide any base pressure with a 1:1 manifold referenced fuel pressure change for up to 25psi of boost. It will act just like a mechanical fuel pressure regulator would with the ECM tuned in the same manner. The fuel injector does not know if the fuel supplied is pumped by a return or returnless system. For use with a Ford GT or GT500 Mustang pump please see Aeromotive P/N’s 66131 and 66133.

The key to making this system simple to use is the stand-alone manifold pressure sensor that tells the controller how to adjust the fuel pressure.

Just like a manifold referenced mechanical fuel pressure regulator, simply connect the hose from the pressure sensor mount to the pressurized side of the intake manifold, set the fuel pressure according to the need, and you’re done. Base fuel pressures at idle are typically between 42-60psi, but the VaporWorx controller has much greater range if needed.

The as-delivered fuel pressure will be approximately 43psi at idle, but turning the pressure adjustment screw two turns CW will rough set a 60psi pressure. Final pressure must be measured with a gauge and set accordingly.

The controller can also be used with any engine that needs to have a separate MAP sensor for manifold referenced fuel pressure. The system, as supplied, will work with the modern GM trucks and Gen5/6 Camaro/F-body fuel pump modules used in chassis that have a factory Fuel Pump Driver Module/FPDM. The fuel requirements for all versions of the Ford Controls Pack for the Coyote GT, GT500, Godzilla, and Megazilla crate engine can be met with the controller. When combined with the Gen5 Camaro ZL1 fuel module, a 750hp naturally aspirated / 650hp supercharged fuel pumping system is easily obtained.

This setup has been used in thousands of retro-swaps with good success.

This kit can also be used in constant pressure mode. Just remove the vacuum line or MAP sensor wiring, and the controller will provide constant pressure.

It is strongly suggested to NOT use an inline filter with with OEM fuel modules except Gen3 Coyote GT500. Final filtering is built in. Some aftermarket fuel filters have a built-in check valve which will cause a heat-soak related overpressure condition that will lock up port type fuel injectors.

• 10-22v operating capacity. Can be used with voltage boosters. The preferred booster is the JMS FuelMax. Lower than 10v applied to the turn on circuit will cause controller shutdown to protect from an AFR lean condition.
